How did LOC start?
LOC began as LocEtudiant. In 2025 it was relaunched as LOC, with Emmanuel Morris, Lewis Rogers and Kodi Majok Matur as co-founders, as one of the ventures of the Impactors Academy.

It means the people recommending a place are the people who know it. A trip shaped by someone local feels different from one shaped by a brochure, and we want every recommendation on LOC to come from that kind of first-hand knowledge.
